1st and 3rd Saturdays and 2nd and 4th Wednesdays of each month
Admission is free. We look forward to welcoming you to our headquarters!


Available Services:
Volunteer docents are available to assist you in the library and provide details for a self-guided tour of the 1812-era Museum.

Closures: Holidays or staffing issues may occur, please contact us before your visit. The building are closed when the Federal Government buildings are closed or when the District of Columbia schools are closed due to inclement weather.

Wednesdays in May: Chat with a Genealogist
If you have wondered what is involved in getting started with genealogy, a genealogy volunteer will have an informal discussion with you. She will provide suggestions!

Saturday, June 6: Do you have a Patriot in Your Family Tree?
This is a public program about genealogy research.
